2. How does Deem Weekly Draw Program work?

Once you spend a minimum of AED 100 on your Deem Mastercard, you qualify for an entry into the weekly draw.

3. How will I know how many tickets I have earned?

The number of tickets you have earned will be shared with you via email through Dream Dubai

AED 100 spend = 1 ticket

4. Does my supplementary card earn tickets?

Yes. Transactions on your supplementary card and virtual card will be eligible for tickets and will appear on the primary card account.

5. What is the minimum amount to be spent to earn a ticket?

A minimum spend of AED 100 is required to earn a ticket into the weekly draw .

6. Do I still earn Cash Up on my Deem Mastercard?

The Cash Up program has been discontinued effective 15 February 2024.

7. When is the last date for me to redeem my Cash Up points?

Last day to redeem your earned Cash Up points is 15 August 2024.

8. Who do I contact in case of any issue faced with my online gift voucher or items purchased on the rewards portal?

Miles Up - Platinum Card

What is the Deem Platinum Miles Up program?

Deem Platinum Miles Up program is the one of the most valuable and relevant loyalty programs that allows you to earn Miles Up on every AED retail spend and provides for seamless redemption on Deem’s rewards portal for a variety of travel options.

Deem’s Platinum Miles Up program offers accelerated Miles Up on all spend related to travel, airline, hotels and shopping at department stores, both in the malls and online.

Miles Up Platinum Table

 (*) Payments towards utility bills, fuel, transport and government services are excluded from Miles Up accrual 

• Miles Up customers earn Miles Up for all AED retail spend based on the above table.

• All Miles Up earning is based on the sum of the transactions in the billing cycle.

• Accelerated Miles Up is earned on shopping spend including online shopping. This includes all purchases made at department stores, ready-to-wear apparel, sportswear, footwear, handbags, fashion accessories, cosmetics & perfume stores.

• Accelerated Miles Up for the accelerated spend categories applies irrespective if the transaction in completed in the UAE or overseas.

• The minimum monthly cycle retail spends required to be eligible for miles is AED 1500. The total number of transactions are summed at the billing cycle and if the retail spend sums up to AED 1500 or more, the Miles Up earn is applied based on the table above.

Miles Up Platinum Program – Merchant Examples


Do I earn accelerated Miles Up on all spend categories in the accelerated Miles Up categories?

All retail transactions that are eligible for Miles Up including accelerated Miles Up done up to the billing cycle will be summed up and the earn rate as per the Platinum Miles Up table will be applied.

Every retail transaction done on credit cards has a specific Merchant Category Code (MCC). MCCs are defined by Mastercard/VISA to classify transactions.

Each Platinum spend category is a group of single/multiple MCCs. When the retail transaction made by you falls under the MCCs covered under the specific spend categories, the transaction will receive accelerated Miles Up.

If a transaction does not fall under the above mentioned category or if any merchant uses an MCC that is different from the one categorised by Mastercard/VISA, then that particular transaction will earn Miles Up at the rate applicable as per the table for ‘Other Retail Purchases’.

All purchases made at department stores, ready-to-wear apparel, sportswear, footwear, handbags, fashion accessories, cosmetics & perfume stores as well as online shopping sites are eligible for accelerated Miles Up. These retail spends are not eligible for accelerated Miles Up, unless such stores have specifically used the department store merchant category codes.


What is the maximum Deem Miles Up that I can earn?

The Monthly Miles Up cap is 100,000 Miles Up across all eligible retail spend and the Annual Miles Up cap is 300,000 across all eligible retail spend.


Are there any transactions that are not eligible for earning Deem Miles Up?

The following transactions are not eligible for Miles Up:

• Balance transfers

• Cash on phone

• Cash advances

• Interest charges

• Fees and commissions

• Credit card payments

• Merchant refunds

• Quasi Cash transactions: Wire Transfer Money Order, Quasi Cash- Member Financial Institution, MasterCard- Quasi Cash-Merchant, Visa- None Financial Institutions- foreign currency, money orders (not wire transfer), & Travelers Cheques, Government-Owned Lotteries, Government-Licensed Horse/Dog Racing, Government-Licensed On-Line Casinos (On-Line Gambling), Betting MCCs

How can I access the Deem rewards account?

You can access and view your Deem rewards account through the Deem mobile app or online banking portal.


What is the validity of my Deem Miles Up?

Your Deem Miles Up will expire in thirty-six (36) months from the date of earning the Miles Up on a first-in first-out basis.

Upon completion of thirty-six (36) months the Miles Up shall be forfeited. E.g.: all Miles Up earned up to March 31st 2019 will be subject to expiry on March 31st 2022.


When can I start redeeming my Deem Miles Up?

You must have 10,000 Miles Up to be able to redeem your Miles Up for rewards on the rewards portal.


How can I redeem my Miles Up?

Do I have to pay anything more for the redemption of Miles Up for tickets?

All rewards redeemed are inclusive of airport taxes, surcharges and booking fees. Any shortfall in the amount of the ticket can be paid with your Deem Credit Card at the time of purchase.


Can I redeem my Deem Miles Up for tickets for anyone apart from the primary card holder?

Yes, you can redeem your Deem Miles Up for tickets for yourself or family members & friends.


Are there blackout dates for redemption for travel bookings?

No, there are no blackout dates. This means you have the freedom to travel anytime of the year, even during the holidays, as long as a seat, hotel room or car is available for booking on www.deemrewards.io


Will I be issued a ticket when redeemed for flights?

You will be issued an e-ticket when you redeem your Deem Miles Up for flights and hotel bookings on the email address shared by you at the time of redemption. You need to carry your e-ticket to check-in at the airline counter/hotel check in desk.


Who do I contact in case of any issues with my flight tickets or in case of any changes needed on the ticket purchased through the rewards?

Please contact the contact centre number(s) that is provided on the e-ticket/voucher that is issued to you for any issues, clarifications or amendments needed to the airline or hotel booking.

1. What is the Deem World Miles Up program?

Easy Payment Plan

1. What is an Easy Payment Plan (EPP)? 

Easy Payment Plan (hereinafter referred to as EPP) is a repayment plan which allows you to repay in instalments over a tenor of 3 to 48months. You can convert either your retail purchases over AED 250 or your credit card outstanding amount into an instalment plan. The eligibility of the EPP is subject to approval from Deem at the time of application.

2. How can I request for the EPP? 

Upon making a purchase with your Deem Credit Card, you can login to Deem Mobile App and request for an Easy Payment Plan for the eligible transactions or by calling our 24x7 Customer Care at 600 525550.

3. What is the eligibility criteria in order to avail EPP?

Provided with good standing of your credit card at the time of request, repayment history and general performance of all Deem products, you may apply for EPP on your Deem Credit card. At the time of request, card shall not be blocked, outstanding balance is not over limit and payments are regular of all Deem products, for the eligibility.

The application for EPP will be reviewed and booked subject to Deem’s approval.

4. What is the minimum purchase value to avail the EPP?

The minimum purchase value of a transaction, in order to avail EPP, is AED 250.

5. How will the EPP reflect in my Credit Card statement?

The monthly instalment arising from the EPP, will be displayed in each statement during the tenure of the EPP. Details of number of instalments and tenure of EPP are also mentioned in the description of the instalment in the statement.

6. How will I know once the transaction is converted into EPP?

You will receive a confirmation email from Deem once the EPP plan is successfully booked. The EPP will also start reflecting in the statements starting from subsequent month.

7. What are the options for tenure of EPP?

EPP can be availed over the following tenures – 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36 & 48 months

8. Can I reduce or increase the tenure of the EPP?

The tenure of the EPP cannot be changed.

9. Can I avail more than one EPP without settling the existing EPP?

Yes. You can avail multiple EPPs.

10. Can a supplementary cardholder apply for an EPP?

Only a primary Cardholder can apply for an Easy Payment Plan. However, a transaction performed on the supplementary card can be converted into an EPP by the primary cardholder.

11. What happens if I miss making a payment on EPP?

If you pay less than EPP instalment amount, charges will be applied to the credit card as per the Deem schedule of fees and charges.

If you are unable to make the payment of EPP instalment by the due date, the instalment amount will become a revolving interest bearing transaction.

If more than or equal to two (2) EPP instalments are overdue on your credit card, the EPP stands cancelled and the entire EPP balance will be converted into a regular revolving interest bearing transaction.

12. Can I foreclose, prepay or cancel my existing EPP on my credit card? Is there a charge for the same?

You can foreclose the EPP on your credit card. The plan will be cancelled and the entire balance amount will be billed to the credit card as a regular interest bearing transaction.

The cancellation / foreclosure of the EPP includes a cancellation fee, as per the schedule of Deem fees and charges. The same fee will apply even in the case of refund or void transactions.

Easy Cash EPP

1. What is 'Easy Cash EPP' facility on Deem Credit Card?

Easy Cash EPP program allows you to get a portion of your available Credit Card limit as cash. The amount availed will be transferred to your local UAE bank account.

2.Who can apply for 'Easy Cash EPP' option?

This program is available for all Primary Deem Credit Card holders based on your eligibility and available credit card limit.

3.How to apply for the Easy Cash EPP facility?

You can apply for Easy Cash EPP through one of the below channels

4. What is the minimum and maximum Easy Cash EPP that I can avail?

You can avail Easy Cash EPP starting from a minimum of AED 2,500 and up to a maximum of up to 80% of your available Credit Card limit. The amount varies based on your eligibility and available Credit Card limit.

5. Are there any documentation requirements to avail the Easy Cash EPP facility?

No additional documents are required to avail Easy Cash EPP facility.

6. What are the tenure options available for the Easy Cash EPP facility on a Credit Card?

You can choose to repay the Easy Cash EPP amount over a tenor of your choice among 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36 and 48 months.

7. What is the applicable interest rate to avail Easy Cash EPP facility?

Easy Cash EPP interest is a flat monthly interest rate of up to 2.75%, based on the tenor opted for and shall be charged on the Easy Cash EPP amount. The interest rates are subject to changes on a periodic basis.

8. What is the applicable Processing fee to avail the Easy Cash EPP facility?

A one time processing fee of up to 3% is applicable. However, this is subject to change

9. Is there any fee to pre-close the Easy Cash EPP facility?

Yes. 1.05% of the remaining principal balance or AED 262.50, whichever is higher will be charged as pre-closure fee.

10. How many days will it take to credit the amount to my local UAE bank account?

It will take approximately 4 calendar days for the amount to be transferred to the UAE bank account provided.

11. How is the Easy Cash EPP monthly instalment amount calculated?

The amount of each Easy Cash EPP monthly instalment shall be computed by dividing the Total Easy Cash EPP Amount (principal amount of the Easy Cash EPP and the interest during the term of the Easy Cash EPP) by the number of months in the term selected by the Card holder. Each Casy Cash EPP monthly instalment will include amounts for the repayment of principal and interest charges.

Example: If you avail Easy Cash EPP for an amount of AED 15,000 over a tenor of 12 months at the interest rate of 1% per month, equated monthly instalment (EMI) that will be billed from the subsequent statement will be AED 1,400 (including principal and interest) as per below expression.

 

 

12.  How is the Easy Cash EPP monthly instalment billed in the statement?

The Easy Cash EPP monthly instalments shall be billed to the Card holder in the Statement of Account. Billing shall commence from the first Statement of Account sent to the Card holder following the disbursement of the Easy Cash EPP.

13.  What if the payment made is not sufficient to cover the minimum due as per statement?

If the Card holder pays less than the Minimum Payment Due by the Payment Due Date specified in the Statement of Account, charges and delay interest as per attached terms and conditions and the Schedule of Fees and Charges will be applicable.

14.  What if the payments are not made on two or more instances towards Easy Cash EPP instalments?

If the Card holder fails to make payment in full of two Easy Cash EPP monthly instalments, the entire outstanding balance of the Easy Cash EPP shall immediately become due and payable by the Card holder, and Deem shall have the right to demand the immediate payment thereof.

15.  If the payment made is in excess of outstanding dues, will it settle against the Easy Cash EPP dues either fully or partially?

Payments made in excess of the credit card outstanding will not automatically be adjusted and will hence not result in prepayment of the Easy Cash EPP. The Customer should make a request through Deem Customer Care in the event that they wish to pre-close the Easy Cash EPP facility.

16.  Will I earn rewards on the Easy Cash EPP facility?

The Miles up rewards points will not accrue on the Easy Cash EPP transaction amount.

17.  How much of the Credit limit will be available for retail and cash transactions?

The credit limit on the card account will be reduced to the extent of the principal Cash EPP availed and will be released as and when the monthly instalments are billed and paid in the subsequent months.

18.  How will the payment be settled towards the outstanding dues and what priority will Easy Cash EPP have?

Easy Cash is an EPP instalment feature on Deem Credit Card. Payment will first get assigned to the billed instalments and thereafter the remaining balances on the credit card.

Balance Transfer Facility

1. What is ‘Balance Transfer’ facility? 

Balance Transfer’ facility is an offering to you to combine the credit card outstanding with UAE banks into one credit card. 

The balance-transfer amount will act as a normal revolving interest bearing transaction with an interest rate of up to 2% per month for the tenure opted for. Monthly retail interest rate of up to 3.99% per month will be applicable thereafter for any unpaid outstanding at the end of the selected tenure. A one-time processing fee of 3% is charged for this facility.

*Monthly retail interest rates: up to 3.75% for World, up to 3.99% for Platinum and up to 3.99% for Titanium Credit cards.

2. How can I request for the ‘Balance Transfer’ facility?

3. How will the ‘Balance Transfer’ reflect in my Credit Card statement?

Once the ‘Balance Transfer’ is approved, outstanding-balance-transfer-amount will be debited from the Deem credit card account and the same will reflect in the subsequent month’s credit card statement.

4. How will I know once my request of ‘Balance Transfer’ is approved?

You will receive a confirmation email from Deem once the ‘Balance Transfer’ plan is successfully booked.

The same will reflect in the subsequent month’s credit card statement.

5. How is the transfer done to my non-Deem outstanding credit cards?

Amount is transferred to your non-Deem Credit card accounts, mentioned as part of your ‘Balance Transfer’ request, online directly through UAE FTS (Fund Transfer System).

6. Can I avail another ‘Balance Transfer’ without settling the existing ‘Balance Transfer’?

Yes. You can avail multiple ‘Balance Transfers’ as long as the total ‘Balance Transfer’ amount is within the amount eligible.

7. Can a supplementary cardholder apply for a ‘Balance Transfers’?

Only a primary Cardholder can apply for a ‘Balance Transfers’.

Credit Limit Increase

1. I have provided consent for Credit Card Limit Increase. When will the limit increase happen?  

Credit limit increase on your Deem Credit Card is governed by Deem’s internal policy criteria. Deem reviews the credit limit of its customers on a monthly basis as per policy and the credit limit is increased based on eligibility. You will receive a confirmation email once the credit limit on the credit card is increased.

2. I have provided consent for Credit Card Limit Increase. How long would my consent be valid for?

The consent provided by you is applicable only for a single limit increase, as Deem reviews the credit limit for its customers on a monthly basis as per its internal policy and would evaluate your credit card for a limit increase on an ongoing basis. Customer consent or request is therefore required for every limit increase.                                                                                      

3. How can I opt-out for Credit Card Limit Increase after providing consent?

You may call Deem at <600 number> to opt-out of credit limit increase on your credit card.

4. What if I do not provide consent for Credit Card Limit Increase?

Deem would exclude your credit card account for an increase in the credit limit. In order to enjoy the exciting features on your Deem Credit Card with a higher credit limit, we would advise you to provide your consent for an increase in your credit card limit. (required to mention the methods of provide the consent)

5. If I opt-in for Credit Limit Increase, how will it affect my Al Etihad Credit bureau?

Once the credit limit increase is processed, the latest credit limit amount on your Deem Credit Card will reflect in the Etihad Credit bureau.

6. Is there any fee for availing Credit Limit Increase?

No, there is no additional fee to avail of Credit Limit Increase.

7. What can I do to increase the limit on my credit card right now?

In case you would like an immediate increase in your credit card limit, you may visit a Deem branch and submit your most updated income document for Deem to review your request. Please note that any increase in your credit card limit would be subject to Deem’s internal policy, and Deem may at its sole discretion decline an increase in the credit card limit.

Supplementary Card

1. Is there an income requirement to apply for the Supplementary Card?

No income documents of supplementary cardholder are required.

2. Am I required to submit any documents for the Supplementary Card application?

Yes, we require you (the Principal Cardholder) to submit your Supplementary Card Applicant’s Know-Your-Customer (KYC) documents indicated below for us to process the request:

a. UAE Resident – Emirates ID or Passport with UAE visa

b. Non – UAE resident - Passport

3. How many Supplementary Credit Cards can I apply for, as a primary Credit Card holder of Deem Credit Card?

You (the Principal Cardholder) can apply for up to 5 supplementary Credit Cards.

4. Is there an age requirement to apply for the Supplementary Cardholder?

Any family member (parents, spouse and children, with age more than 16 years) are eligible and need to submit above listed KYC documents.

In case of supplementary card holder being a minor (less than 18 years of age at the time of request), along with the above KYC documents additional consent forms duly filled and signed by the primary cardholder are required in physical.

5. How can I apply for a Supplementary Card for my loved ones?

You can apply for the ‘Supplementary card’, for your family members by calling Deem 24x7 Customer care center and initiate the request for ‘Supplementary card’.

You can also apply for the ‘Supplementary Card’ by creating a Service Request on Deem Mobile App.

Alternately, you as a principal cardholder can visit any Deem branch and shall submit the filled-in application form and include a copy of the Supplementary Card Applicant’s documents.

6. What is the credit limit that will be assigned to my Supplementary Cardholder?

Upon approval of the Supplementary Card application, you (principal cardholder) can decide the credit limit assigned to the Supplementary Cardholder and it is a shared credit limit with your primary Credit Card account. Hence, no separate credit limit will be extended to the supplementary Credit Card(s).

7. Is there an annual/joining fee on Supplementary Credit Card(s)?

There is no annual/joining fee on Supplementary Credit Cards.

8. Will I earn Reward points for spends on Supplementary Credit Card(s)?

Yes, you will earn reward points for all eligible spends done through Supplementary Credit Card(s).

9. Will there be a separate account statement for the Supplementary Credit Card(s)?

Consolidated Credit Card statement shall be sent to the Primary card holder and no separate statement for supplementary card will be issued. The primary cardholder is liable for all transactions done through the Supplementary Credit Card(s).

10. What are the interest and charges on the Supplementary Credit Card(s)?

Interest and charges as applicable on the transactions made on Primary Credit Card shall apply to the supplementary Credit Cards as well. No joining fee/annual charges are applicable on the Supplementary Credit Card(s) however all other charges /duties as applicable on Primary Credit Card will apply to the Supplementary Credit Card(s) as well.

11. What are the fees and charges applicable for the Supplementary Card?

Valet Parking Services

1. Are the valet parking services offered for free?

Yes, the valet parking services can be availed for free at multiple shopping malls and dining hotspots, provided you meet the minimum required spends on your Credit Card

2. How many complimentary valet parking services am I eligible for?

As a Deem Platinum Credit Card holder, you are eligible for 4 complimentary standard valet parking services per month considering that the total retail spends in the previous billing cycle is minimum of AED 3,000

As a Deem World Credit Card holder, you are eligible for 6 complimentary standard valet parking services per month considering that the total retail spends in the previous billing cycle is minimum of AED 6,000

3. What are the locations where I can avail complimentary valet parking services?

Complimentary Valet Parking Services are available at multiple popular shopping destinations, dining hotspots in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Complimentary valet parking services are available at Dubai airports as well, for Deem World Credit Card holders only.

4. What happens when I use the valet parking services in excess to the eligible number of services?

The ineligible valet parking services availed during the month will be billed to the Deem Credit Card in the following month by 20th of the month. The ineligible parking services will be charged to the Credit Card statement as per the schedule of charges available in Annexure-2.

5. Are VIP parking services included in the complimentary valet parking services?

Only Standard parking services are eligible for complimentary valet parking services. However, in case the cardholder avails VIP valet parking service, usage of one VIP valet parking service is considered equivalent to 2 standard valet parking services

6. Can the supplementary Credit Card holder avail the complimentary valet parking services?

Yes, the supplementary card holder can avail the complimentary services. However, the same will be counted towards the primary card holder account.

7. Who provides these valet parking services at the listed locations?

The Valet parking service is provided by Valtrans Transportation Systems (Valtrans) and is subject to availability of parking space. All charges debited to your Credit Card are on account of Valtrans and not on account of Deem.

5. Effective 31st January 2023, valet parking services will be discontinued at Box Park Dubai
